Stuart Cable, l'ex-batteur des Stereophonics, dont il s'était séparé en 2003, nous a quitté le 7 juin 2010, alors qu'il venait de fêter ses 40 ans. Co-fondateur du groupe avec son ami d'enfance Kelly Jones, il avait contribué à l'essor et au succès du groupe gallois. Il s'était également illustré à la radio et la télévision en tant que présentateur de Cable TV et Cable Rock. Il s'apprêtait à sortir en juin un album avec son nouveau groupe Killing for Company. A l'heure actuelle, on ignore si la sortie sera maintenue. De multiples hommages lui ont été rendus :
